Not only is Bratz: The Movie out on DVD today, but Lionsgate, the studio behind the movie, is sweetening the deal just a little bit.
The studio will award a total of four scholarships, each worth $15,000, though an essay contest asking girls, “What are you most passionate about in life and how would you use this scholarship to help you grow?”
The Bratz are best friends, but also have individual passions such as singing, chemistry, soccer, and dance. The scholarships, named for each of the Bratz — Yasmin, Cloe, Sasha, and Jade – will be awarded to children that embody a passionate spirit for life.
The Bratz Scholarship Contest is closely aligned with the positive message conveyed in the film, including a storyline where these “BFF’s” compete in a talent show for their very-own chance to win a college scholarship!
Details on prizing and how to enter will be included inside the DVD available today, November 27th.
My name is Makayla Watson, I am 18 years old, I have many hobbies, English is my third language, I come to U.S.A. been 5 years, I love play violin in school concert band, running, study Math and Science, also biggest fane of fashion, and I am very friendly creatively with many thing, like cook or Dance…. But I am most passionate about I love helping other people, and little children doesn’t have parents, because I lost my parents when I was 2 or 3 years old, and I got adopted from American family in china when I was thirteen, and lot of people been helping me every time when I need to help, and give lot of love with lot of sport. I want go to 6 year college, education is very important to me and I need Money for college but, I cant pay for every thing by my self, if I got this scholarships, its going to help my futures allot, I will be very thanks full to you’ll. Also I get to use my wisdom share with others. Now is the chance to help other and share my love with them.
I heard you are giving away scholarships and I really want so I can get into a good high school and a good college. My passion is to become a fashion designer, an actress, a model, and a cosmatologist. Those are my true dream. I really want to be someone when I grow up because I need to know how it is to be in the fashion industry, modeling, and a cosmatologist. I also need to know how it feels to stand on my own. I really need to know how to buy my own food, pay bills, buy my own clothes, and buy my own house. I really hope you give me a scholarship because I really need one to get in a good high school and a good college.
