Keyboardist Danny Federici has taken leave of Springsteen’s “Magic” tour. Federici, 57, has taken leave to undergo treatment for melanoma.
Federici, an original member of Springsteen’s E Street Band, will be temporarily replaced by Charles Giordano of Springsteen’s “Seeger Sessions Tour.”
The Star-Ledger of Newark reported that fans at the Boston show on Monday chanted Federici’s name when the band took their bows.
