If Sony didn’t have enough to worry about with lagging Sony PS3 sales at the onslaught of the 2007 holiday season, they now must pay $5 million to Steve Popovich, founder of Cleveland International Records.
Popovich accused Sony of leaving his logo off of the rerelease of Meat Loaf’s “Bat Out of Hell” album. Popovich stated, “I worked too hard for them and made them too much money to get robbed now, in the autumn of my life.”
Sony admitted to leaving off the logo, claiming it was a mistake. They accused Popovich of overreacting in an attempt to win money from the company.
