It’s been years in the making, and now it’s official. Matt Damon is People Magazine’s Sexiest Man Alive for 2007.
Damon, 37, said he couldn’t accept the crown. He told People, “You’ve given an aging suburban dad the ego-boost of a lifetime.” The magazine said this statement “perfectly demonstrates many of the reasons (why) we chose him in the first place: irresistible sense of humor, rock solid family man, heart-melting humility.”
Coming in at number two was my personal favorite - Patrick Dempsey from Grey’s Anatomy. Dempsey, 41, says “defining romance is very tricky… It’s not just candles and flowers.”
He’s been married for eight years to his wife Jillian, and still can’t resist her eyes. “I was always taken by them… They’re warm, sparkly eyes. That’s the most beautiful part of someone.”
