Justice League of America May Have More to Fear than OMAC JLAWhen the comic world heard a Justice League of America film was in the works, everyone stood on the edge of their seats? What would the plot line be? Who would wear the masks of the Golden Age heroes we grew up aspiring to be?

Then the word got out that the JLA movie would be based off of the recent comic arc involving Maxwell Lord and the OMAC (One Man Army Corps) project. And, most said one word. “Lame.”

Oh, and for those who don’t know about OMAC, fear not. The JLA movie will probably be further delayed. The Hollywood Reporter stated that “at Warner Bros., “Justice League of America” finds itself without a shooting script and has options expiring on potential actors who recently were screen tested. As a result, it might have to postpone production.”

So, you’ll have plenty of time to read up on a story that could have had potential but ended up being full of hot air.

Maybe the production delay will give Warner Bros. some time to think over their questionable cast. Warner Bros. has decided to go for a younger “hip” look, in the hopes of planning a series of movies under the Justice League of America brand. Outside of Common, most have a look reminiscent to Beverly Hills 90210 or Melrose Place (if you don’t remember the shows, good for you).

Scott Porter (Speed Racer) is expected to play Superman
Common (American Gangster) is expected to play Green Lanter John Stewart
Adam Brody (The O.C.) is expected to play Speedster Wally West - The Flash
Teresa Palmer (The Grudge 2) is expected to play Talia Ghul - Batman’s love interest and daughter of the one of the greatest criminals of all time Ra’s Al Ghul.
