In Chuck vs. the Imported Hard Salami, Chuck takes a lesson out of Denzel Washington’s “Training Day” manual and decides to ‘Man Up’ to the government. When Sarah was high on truth serum, she told Chuck there was no hope for a real relationship between the two. Chuck decides he’s had enough of his fake relationship and breaks up with his government handler.
Now that that he’s free, Chuck’s got a new lease on the relationship scene and seeks out Lou the sandwhich girl. After a literally steamy make-out scene in the Buy More Nerd Herd car, Lou takes Chuck inside to make him a special sandwhich. But this Nerd Herd leader can’t enjoy a romantic moment without flashing on some government secret.
Chuck learns that Lou’s ex is involved in an illegal smuggling operation, which leads Chuck into an undercover date operation at Lou’s ex’s club. Sarah is immediately jealous of Chuck’s new found romance and botches the date Chuck’s club date with Lou. As if Chuck didn’t have enough problems.
The Buzzfocus.com Moment of the Week goes to Chuck for saying, “Is it me or does our government never want me to have sex again.”
Chuck is able to make up with Lou, but not before she makes him jump through the ringer. Chuck must wait on line at Lou’s sandwhich shop to get the chance to talk to his estranged lover. After over 90 guests, Chuck is finally served. And, he gets some hot pastrami action from Lou.
The government isn’t done with Chuck though. When the lead they get comes up empty, Chuck’s handlers blame Lou for being an informant. Of course only one thing happens as a result. Chuck wrongly accuses Lou of being involved in a weapon smuggling ring sponsored by her ex. He’s dumbfounded when he learns Lou was actually just buying some special imported meats. The accusation lands Chuck and Sarah kidnapped and in the back of a trunk.
Casey poses as a FDA operative to get information from Lou on the wherabouts of Chuck. Now, that the secret is out.
After taking out the smugglers, Chuck and Sarah come face to face with a ticking chemical time bomb. 10 seconds before the timer runs out, they seize the moment and kiss. The truth is out, Sarah has feelings for Chuck. About 10 more seconds after the bomb timer expires, the lip-locked couple realize that the bomb was a dud.
Lou decides to walk away from Chuck under the impression he was only dating her as part of an FDA operation.
Back at Buy More, Morgan puts the moves on Anna. But, his quirky attachment to Chuck lands that relationship in the dumpster.
What was Lou’s ex smuggling anyway? Bryce’s body. He’s alive. Awkward. And, tragic for a love lost Chuck.
