When Clark hears his mother’s voice crying out for help from Kara’s crystal, he heads to the Fortress of Solitude to try and help his mother. Unfortunately, Clark’s actions don’t always lead him in the right direction.
Clark ignores Jor El’s order to keep Kara’s crystal away from the fortress. Clark, always ready to disobey his father decides to plug the crystal right into the management console of the fortress. It seems the crystal is like a horcrux in Harry Potter that carries the spirit of Lara El inside of it. By putting the crystal into the fortress, Lara’s spirit is released in the flesh. Clark warmly meets his mother for the first time.
But she isn’t the only one who had a piece of her spirit locked away in that blue crystal. Clark unwittingly releases Zor El into the world, who just happens to dress like Neo from the Matrix.
Chloe and Lex discover that Lois and Grant have been seeing each other. Lois and Grant decide to stage a fake break up to hide their tracks. There’s still one secret lying in the background. Grant is really Lex’s brother Jullian Luthor. Lyonel had given Jullian up for adoption as a child and told the world his son was dead.
And, no… Clark still hasn’t flown yet.
