Due to the WGA Strike, Fox has released a revised 2008 schedule, which notably denotes that the much anticipated January 13th premiere of 24 has been postponed. According to the network, they would like to air the show uninterrupted and in its entirety.

So now, January 13th and 14th will feature the premiere of the new series “Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles.” Then on the 15th, Fox will start the seventh season of American Idol.

I’m anxiously awaiting 24’s return, but this is the right move by Fox. It would be an even worse tragedy for the show to go on an indefinite postponement mid-way through the season. At this time only about a third of the season’s new episodes have been produced and who knows how long the WGA strike will go on.

So it looks like Jack Bauer and friends will have to wait…we just hope it’s not too long.
