Actor Sean Connery has settled his current law suit against the Sherwood Country Club.
Connery purchased a $35,000 membership in the club under the impression the Club would use his name to promote real estate sales surrounding the Country Club. He anticipated an 80% return on the equity after 3 years.
Connery left Sherwood Country Club in 2004, and filed suit in May 2006.
Connery’s attorney Daniel S. Miller said, “Courts usually like settlements, but when we called to tell them about this settlement, they said Connery is one person they would have liked to have seen.”
Testimony was to include Joe Pesci and Craig T. Nelson.
