Lane Garrison, formerly David “Tweener” Apolskis of the Fox show Prison Break, has been sentenced to 3 years and 4 months in real prison. This all stems from his DUI incident in which a high school student was killed when a car Garrison was driving crashed.
The judge made an example out of Garrison, not affording him the same privileges that other celebrity offenders have received when potentially facing the slammer. According to an Associate Press Report, Superior Court Judge Elden S. Fox. stated:
“The public has the right to know that conduct such as this, causing devastation such as this will have consequences. Unfortunately, in this case, you have to be the messenger,” he told the former “Prison Break” actor.
Garrison seems genuinely remorseful for his actions that night and has publicly apologized to the family of the teen that died that night.
