In “Chuck vs. the Sizzling Shrimp,” Chuck tries to spend a quiet night with Sarah, Morgan and Ellie. Of course, we all know there’s no such thing as a quiet night anymore for our human intelligence computer.
When Chinese Intelligence agent Mei Ling goes undercover in a Chinatown restaurant, Chuck’s knack for spontaneous computerized brain flashes kicks in. In typical Chuck fashion, he misinterprets the images he sees and accidentally aids a Triad Mafia Boss in the kidnapping of Mei Ling’s brother.
Meanwhile, the Buy More manager has initiated a sales contest which has Morgan in fright mode. If he doesn’t sell, Morgan gets the axe.
Mei Ling follows Chuck to the Buy More to convince Chuck to help her rescue her brother. In spy talk, convincing means holding the person who needs convincing - Chuck - at gun point. Bartowski convinces Mei Ling to defect to the U.S. in exchange for Casey and Sarah’s help saving her brother.

Chuck skips out on spending Mother’s Day with his sister Ellie. What ends up happening? Morgan and Ellie finally bond on the subject of Chuck’s flakiness. Oh, and yeah, Mr. Awesome was out working.
Chuck ends up saving the day by using a fireworks distraction and ungracefully nabs the Triad crime boss.
Tune in every Monday for more Chuck and be sure to join the Chuck discussion at Buzzfocus.com.
