Are you a student whose one dream is to get your film viewed by award winning film industry pros? Ever wonder what the seasoned Hollywood filmmakers responsible for such hits as Men in Black, 3:10 To Yuma, American Psycho, Hotel Rwanda, and You’ve Got Mail would say about your film?
Well wait no longer. Apple is returning with their 2007 Insomnia Film Festival. On Saturday, October 13 at 9:00 am EST, Apple will post a top-secret list of elements — special props, dialogue, settings — you get the idea. Choose any three to include in your movie. Then all you and your team have to do is write, cast, shoot, edit, score, and upload your 3-minute masterpiece within 24 hours. No problem, right?
Once the films are in, your friends, family, and adoring fans will be able to watch them online and rate their favorites. The 25 entries with the highest rating on November 9 at 12:00 a.m. EST will be screened by industry professionals, including Barry Sonnenfeld, James Mangold, and Nora Ephron. Find out if your film take the heat and register NOW!

Is there a link to see “the grass isn’t always greener”?
Apples insomnia film fest is a great idea. It challenges young minds to be creative and productive. Check out one of the entries done by high school students from St. James, NY-”THE GRASS ISN’T ALWAYS GREENER” by AJ DeSimone——it is great!!!!!!!!!!
This festival is a cool idea. I’ve been watching a lot of the videos on Youtube. I have a few favorites…but this one definitely has a unique concept.
