Bionic Woman Episode 3 Recap : SisterhoodAs Jaime becomes more familiar with the bionics that were implanted into her body, she begins to realize more and more that her life will never be the same.

Jonas reveals that the Berkut group not only has access to everything Jaime sees, through a cerebral camera, but also that Jaime is walking around with a GPS system in her head. Obviously, Jaime is none to thrilled with this invasion of privacy and abuse of power, bun Jonas still regards Jaime as nothing more than his $50 million weapon. The writers got a laugh out of viewers when Jaime threatened to call Hillary Clinton, if Jonas didn’t give her some personal space.

All the while, Jaime is discovering there are more secrets surrounding her relationship with her deceased fiance Will Anthros. For starters, Sarah Corvus has Jaime wondering if becoming the Bionic Woman was indeed accidental. Jaime already had her suspicions after finding Will’s dossier on her life. But Sarah leads Jaime to believe that her entire relationship was a setup by the Berkut Group.

And that’s not the only secret exposed in “Sisterhood.” Jaime learns that Will’s father Anthony recently got out of prison - he was in jail for selling bionics on the black market. Her little sister also knows a tidbid about their background that Jaime didn’t know. Their great-grandmother died at age 25 from a genetic disease. Becca makes light of her death, taunting her 24 year old sister who may suffer the same fate. One can only guess that this will somehow tie into why Will and the Berkut group were studying Jaime over 2 years ago.

Jaime must deal with the emotional roller coaster of revelations, while trying to protect a Canadian defense contractor’s daughter from the Serbians and figuring out what exactly is the deal with Sarah Corvus.

Sarah has her own set of issues. It looks like after Jae shot her, Will brought her back from the dead. The only problem is that something about the earlier bionics is being rejected by her body. A caustic Anthony gives her a sedative to calm her nerves, but Sarah only sees one way to salvation - bring Jaime Sommers in. If something changed between version 1 and version 2 of bionic women, it may be the cure Corvus needs to survive.

Sarah teams up with Jaime to defend the Canadian defense contractor’s daughter from the Serbians. Then she teaches Jaime how to disable the GPS and camera inside of her head. Which, by the way isn’t without its drawbacks. Disabling the chip causes Jaime’s nose to bleed.

Thinking she’s earned Jaime’s trust, Sarah asks Jaime to come in to Anthony to be tested. With Will dead, Anthony is the only surgeon left with the knowledge to fix Sarah’s bionic problem. Unfortunately, Jaime is not taking the risk of being delivered into Anthony’s clutches.

Sarah makes one last desperate attempt to bring Jaime in. She stops by to visit Becca and threatens her life. Jaime is able talk her down, and reactivates the chip inside her head. Sarah decides to spare Becca’s life. She doesn’t think Jaime should lose her little sister, the way Sarah lost her own.

Next week, Jaime goes out on her first official mission. So, tune in next Wednesday for more Bionic action, and tune back in to Buzzfocus for the after ep discussion.

    Hey Ashley,
Here’s the 411 on the music from Bionic Woman: Sisterhood…

When Jaime and Becca are dancing in their apartment it’s “Breakin’ Dishes” by Rihanna

The opening scene is “Date with the Night” by the Yeah Yeah Yeahs

    Hope that works!

I have a question? Does anyone know the name of the song that Jami and Becca where dancing to in their apartment in the beginning of Episode 3. I really want to know what song that is and/or who sings it.

Bionic Woman’s good so far, but I don’t know how long it’ll last. it follows the old school sitcom setup. problems practically every problem solved by the end of the show.

The Bionic Woman is shaping up to be an excellent series. My only problem is that there are a few strange emotional turns and the character reveals are sometimes stale. In the pilot episode Jaime seemed all on board at the end of the episode. She made a gung-ho speech about how she’ll work with Jonas’ team on her terms. But, by the beginning of episode two Paradise Lost she wanted nothing to do with Jonas.

The character reveals in Sisterhood weren’t too shocking. Yes, Jaime found out Will’s father was in jail, but we already knew that. I almost think Anthony Anthros should have showed up later. His appearance has been lukewarm at best so far. Maybe, take a page out of 24 to add more suspense and turns without going overboard.

I almost think there should be more build up to the reveals. That way it would hold that much more weight when it happened. Like Jaime discovering Will’s dossier on her. So, the viewer response was only “Oh”… instead of “OH &$^%”

It’s almost like problems seem to get these temporary resolutions that happen too quickly. The writers need to slow down the progression so there’s more focus on key parts. Otherwise an excellent series.
