This weekend, you can catch Dr. Brady Barr’s intense encounter with one of the world’s deadliest animals. His show, Dangerous Encounters with Brady Barr (on the National Geographic Channel) is not afraid to get up close and personal with deadly wildlife.
In this Sunday’s episode, entitled “Snake Bite,” Dr. Barr visits Indonesia where he wades through a cave, waist-deep in mud, to catch an enormous python. During the attempt to catch the snake, Dr. Barr was attacked and bitten. Check out this rough clip of what happens:
Even more interesting than the clip is Barr’s first-person recap of the attack where he describes excruciating pain as the snake dug its razor sharp teeth in his leg.
