I wonder if the dip in viewership has anything to do with people getting drunk during all the great sports games going on right now? It’s a tough slot, honestly. Sunday is a time when people remember they have to go to work the next day and try to get some last minute partying in (usually). I think this season has started off as good as it could have started off. Perhaps people are worried that this new Robin Hood will be caught finally?

Personally, I try not to watch much TV but “Dexter” is such a unique show that I can’t help but be hooked. I put it up there with Dr. Who, a show that I have watched all my life - that says a lot! Really, there is a lot of good stuff on broadcast television, satellite, and cable alike.. It’s a competitive landscape.

The way I see it, everyone is offering their version of the same stories. With all these slightly different flavors, it’s good to have a flavor that is very much different. It’s an acquired taste, of course, and people either love it or hate it. I am really hoping Dexter at least makes it to a third season. I mean, if crappy shows like “King of the Hill” and “I Love New York” can stay on the air, the good shows simply MUST stay on!

Sorry if I offended anyone by saying the aforementioned shows suck… =oP
