In 1977 I was fortunate to purchase one of the only two available BANDIT Trans Ams for sale from Gilroy
Pontiac located in Gilroy CA. That car was the most amazing expierience of my carcrazy life. Every where I drove the car I recieved comments. I remember one particular time while my T/A was parked
and I was having lunch with my dad inside a restaraunt we noticed traffic slowing down. When we finished eating and went out side the owner of a neighboring bussiness came greeted us and said that
she was amazed at so many people stopping to take a look at the car. I was 17 and a senior at Live
Oak High School in Morgan Hill having the time of my life until one day in 1978 I had a girl pull out in
front of me which ended my Bandits enjoyment. All I have remaining from my Bandit is one old picture
a scar in my forehead and my license plate “NASTY77″. I have owned muscle cars, street rods but,
NOTHING can replace the enjoyment of driving a 1977 BANDIT T/A.
