Actor David Hasslelhoff has been hospitalized after his recent relapse with alcohol abuse.
His publicist told TMZ.com, “David had a brief relapse and immediately recognized the importance of addressing it with the assistance of his doctors… He is doing fine and will be back home in the morning.”
The actor has already been in rehab twice before in 2002 and 2004. In June 2004 he plead guilty to a DUI misdemeanor.
It is unsure whether Hasslelhoff’s relapse will effect his custody of Hayley and Taylor, his two teenage daughters. He lost temporary custody earlier this year after eldest daughter Taylor shot a video of David drunk. The tape was an effort to convince her father to quit drinking permanently. The video was leaked to the public in May, allegedly by mother Pamela Bach.
The actor was most recently in Europe filming “Anaconda 3.”
