It looks like Kevin James is keeping himself busy after his run in “The King of Queens” ended this year. The rotund actor will star in a comedy called “Mall Cop,” where he plays, well a mall cop, that discovers his shopping complex is being taken over by highly organized thieves.
The movie is being financed by Columbia Pictures and James co-wrote the screenplay with Nick Bakay (Sabrina, the Teenage Witch). Adam Sandler is said to be a producer on the movie as well. If you remember, Sandler and James hilariously united to make “I Now Pronounce You Chuck & Larry” earlier this year.
