Academy Award winning actor George Clooney won’t be doing much acting any time soon. The Academy Award winning actor was involved in a motorcycle accident on Friday.
Clooney and passenger Sarah Larson heading north across from New York’s Hudson river, when Clooney’s motorcycle collided with a 1999 Mazda Millenia. Clooney’s publicist Stan Rosenfield, reported that Clooney was “doing fine… He has a broken rib, it’s very painful and it’ll take a long time to heal.” Larson suffered a broken foot. The two have been spotted together repeatedly over the past month.
It is not yet known who was the cause of the accident. Rosenfield said that, “The car signaled left. George was riding to the right. The driver decided to make an abrupt right turn and clipped George.”
Sgt. Sean Kelly of the Weehawken police, said the accident was still under investigation and is “a he-said, she-said right now, but you can’t pass on the right in Weehawken or anywhere in Jersey.”
Rosenfield said the accident shouldn’t hurt production of Clooney’s current project “Burn After Reading,” The movie co-stars Brad Pitt and John Malkovich.
