Larry King, host of the interview bearing his name, “Larry King Live,” was rewarded with his own city block.
A vote by City Council was taken to rename the city block surrounding the CNN building in Hollywood to “Larry King Square.” The radio personality who got his start in Miami in 1957, hosts the longest running interview show on CNN.
At the same meeting, the City Council created “I Love Lucy Square,” near the location of the Lucille Ball and Lucy Casada’s old restaurant Lucy’s El Adobe Cafe.
