A handgun owned by the late Elvis Presley was reportedly robbed from the Elvis After Dark museum. The museum, located across the street from the Presley mansion, Graceland, discovered that the handgun was missing on Friday.

The handgun, owned by Elvis, was taken on Tuesday from the museum. The theft occurred only two days before the 30th anniversary of the singer’s death on August 16, 1977.

Video footage retrieved from the scene of the crime showed a man leaving with the handgun some time near midnight. A museum visitor discovered the empty glass case, which held the handgun, and notified authorities.
