When last we left the Whiskers clan on Meerkat Manor, Flower, the dominant female of the Whiskers clan, lead her family to a decisive victory over the Zappa tribe. Unfortunately, during the territorial battle Flower lost track of Sophie, Mitch, Jogu and her new cubs.
Lost in Zappa territory, Sophie takes charge of protecting the cubs. Mitch, hungry to be the hero of the lost family members, ventures out in search of Flower the rest of the Whiskers clan. Jogu, on the other hand, has only one thing in mind - becoming a adult. Jogu sets his eyes on Melanie a member of the Zappa clan.
But, what of the Zappa. The clan, disgruntled over their prior loss to the Whiskers, is looking to regain their honor and concordantly their territory. But, that’s not all. The Zappa haven’t eaten. So, what better food to eat than revenge - a dish of cold Whiskers stew. They spot the lost members of the Whiskers family, and launch into attack.
As if Sophie didn’t have enough to worry about. The cubs are starving, and their are other territorial predators stalking her. She takes the cubs below ground into a burrow to hide.
It seems luck is on the side of Sophie today. Flower and her clan are exploring the same section of the territory, when they see the Zappa on the attack. Not realizing that the Zappa were actually attacking Sophie, now well below ground, they launch their retaliative attack.
Overpowered by the sheer number of Whiskers, the Zappa are forced back. Losing a second battle on their home turf. Life is bad for the Zappa.
The lost Whiskers family members are reunited with their clan. And, guess where Jogu was in all of this? He was off with Melanie becoming an adult.
