The hilarious antics of Chris Tucker and Jackie Chan were enough to unseat Jason Bourne from the weekend’s top box office spot. New Line Cinema’s Rush Hour 3, the third installment of the buddy-cop franchise took in an estimated $50.2 million this weekend, besting The Bourne Ultimatum, which took in $33.7 million.
Struggling to get off to a good start was Paramount’s Stardust, starring Michelle Pfeiffer. The adult fairy tale only took in $9 million in its opening weekend.
