On August 10, Meerkat Manor Returns to Animal Planet for its third season (on the Discovery Channel). Meerkat Manor takes a playful look at the harsh realities a family of meerkats must endure to survive in Africa’s Kalahari Desert.
Meerkat Manor details the journey of the Whiskers meerkat family. At the end of season two, the Whiskers were locked in a fierce battle with their biggest rivals the Commandos. The bitter rivalry resulted in the death of Mozart’s pups, just as the long winter was approaching.
So, what do we have to look forward to in season three. Flower, the matriarch of the Whiskers tribe, will lead her pack on a perilous journey to find a new home in the Kalahari Desert. Which means new rivalries and of course more drama with our favorite meerkat family.

I agree. I grew up watching Nature shows and Disney movies, so this kind of perspective really cooks.
This show is so much fun. I wish the narrator was a little bit more ominous though. he seems board, during some of the more intense scenes and i think that takes away from the show.
