A caretaker at actor Ving Rhames LA home was reportedly killed On Friday when attacked by two dogs. The caretaker worked and lived at Rhames home for two years caring for the dogs.
Police were called to the scene around 7:15 am when an observer reported a dead body on the Brentwood estate.
Lt. Ray Lombardo said, “The victim had a large number of bites and scratches which appear to be dog bites.” The police are awaiting a coroner autopsy before declaring the official cause of death. Capt. Ed Winter said, “We don’t know if he was attacked by the dogs and suffered a heart attack.”
Rhames told Time magazine he had “eight Fila Brasileiro mastiffs, the national dog of Brazil.” The 40 year old caretaker was one of the staff members responsible for taking care of the dogs.
