Fans looking to complete their “The Sopranos” DVD collection will have to wait no longer than this fall.
The Sopranos Season 6, Part 2 will be released on DVD on October 23, 2007. If you haven’t watched the 9 episodes that make up this season, they are an explosive conclusion to the infamous mob show. The series is also up for an astounding 15 Emmy awards as well.
There will be a 4-DVD set in standard DVD format and HBO is planning on releasing both HD-DVD and Blu-ray Disc High Definition versions.
The box set also will have the following special features:
* Making “Cleaver”: Behind the scenes of Christopher’s horror film
* The Music of The Sopranos: Creator David Chase, cast and crew discuss the songs from the show
* Four audio commentaries with cast members Dominic Chainese, Robert Iler, Arthur Nascarella, Steven R. Schirripa and Stevie Van Zandt
I’ll get the BluRay complete set when it comes out. Screw DVD’s.
