joker_bw.jpgHype for the Dark Knight, the sequel to Batman Begins, continues with an all new Joker website. This new site comes only a few months after the release of the Harvey Dent website, and the Joker’s Harvey Dent Spoof site.

At the Joker’s new Why So Serious website, he shows off his blatant disrespect for authority by holding a public recruitment of Jokers in training. He also got his malicious hands on police surveillance footage of so-called Jokers. Unfortunately, “the clown prince of crime” had the last laugh on Gotham Police who mistakingly gunned down the wrong Joker. Harvey Dent’s probably kicking himself in the backside as we speak because the Joker also got a hold of the police report claiming Gotham citizens could rest at ease now that the Joker threat was no more.

How wrong they are.

Warner Bros. seems to be pulling out all the stops for the return on the Dark Knight, which isn’t completely absurd. After all, Bruce Wayne is one of the richest characters in the DC Comics universe, so if it’s his film why not go all out? The Dark Knight will also be the first feature film to have several scenes shot on IMAX format (for the full article click here).
