Fox’s groundbreaking ratings hit 24 is rumored to have cast actress Cherry Jones as the new president. Fox hasn’t confirmed the rumor yet, but it seems the network is looking to grab some seventh season momentum from Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign.
Jones would be the first major cast addition to the character list on the Fox’s Monday night thriller. The seventh season of 24, originally scripted to shoot in Africa, was recently delayed due to production costs.
The actress starred in the feature film Ocean’s Twelve.

amazing.. the show has been through about 7 presidents in 7 seasons (if you include the fact that there was an unnamed president during season 1). Not that it was ever realistic, but now it’s ridiculous. Jack Bauer must be 55 years old by now!
I hope this season doesn’t take place in California again. The location is getting monotonous.
