On July 14, Miami Ink tattoo artist legend Kat Von D opened up her new rockin’ tattoo spot, High Voltage Tattoo, to the public. The LA based shop is also the focus of TLC’s new Miami Ink tattoo shop spin off series LA Ink, starring Kat Von D.
For Kat fans who have been dying to see their favorite tattoo artist since her departure from Miami Ink, walk-ins are welcome at High Voltage: Monday through Friday, 9pm to midnight, and Saturday and Sunday, 2pm to midnight. So, skate up the hot mini ramp and sit down in Kat’s tattoo chair for some new ink.
Unfortunately, during the filming season, the shop will be closed to the public on weekends until 9pm. But, hey why not try getting cast on the show by stopping lainkcasting.com.

Hi Kat~ My husband & I have followed you since you were in FLA. Congrats on your own place & show. We have not missed any of your episodes. Just saw your newest season shows. Our sincerest cndolences for the loss of Ludwig. We always enjoyed seeing him on the show. He was a very special precious cat. His passing is a huge loss for you so don’t feel badly or that you should not show your grief. Your love for him will always remind you how wonderful he was while here. My husband has been thinking about getting a tatoo for a awhile now. I have 3 myself and he would never consider it until watching your show. He tapes it and watches about 5 episodes every week. He now wants to get one. We live in Phoenix, AZ. so we are about 4 hours to your shop. He has an idea of what he wants. Can we make an appointment to get it done? kate im only 13 and i love ur show i want to get a tat really bad, im trying to talk my mom into it but she keeps saying NO. as i said i love ur show i no alot of people say that but one time befor i fell in love with ur show i watched it for a min and i still didnt like it, but then i spent the week end with my aunt cathy and we sat down and watched it cuz she has allwas watched sence ur show sarted and sence then i havent missed an epesode. and im happy that the second season started. when im older i would love to get a tat done by you.

i remember my 1st tattoo on my 30th bday my sister Lisa told me to becareful because they would be addicting, hmm I told her No way. Well she was right, unfortunately she is no longer with us. Her and my niece her daughter Sarah were killed in a car accident and I would love thier portrait on my back (perfect place) because I know they have my back always.
