Today is the big day for Desperate Housewives actress Eva Longoria and NBA-star Tony Parker. In a few hours Longoria will no longer only act as a desperate housewife, but instead play that role for real.
On Friday, Longoria and Parker exchanged civil-vows at the Paris’ city hall, a necessary formality even with a church wedding. This exchange was dramatically smaller than todays mega-deluxe wedding. Only a few bridal attendees and close family were present.
Today’s wedding will include over 250 guests, most of whom have arrived earlier this week by a privately chartered boat.
Eva told OK! Magazine, “I am beyond thrilled and ecstatic to have taken the first step with the civil ceremony today… It was a dream come true in every sense of the word. I felt like a princess!” The magazine reportedly paid $2 million for the exclusive photo rights to the wedding.
“And of course, tomorrow is the big day. Tony and I cannot wait to share this special time with our family and friends.”
The wedding takes place at the Church of Saint Germain l’Auxerrois in Paris, France.
