Much like the Truman Story, Harry Potter fans around the world have intently watched young Daniel Radcliffe grow up from a 10 year old boy to the spry teenager he is today.
So, it wasn’t surprising that when filming Potter’s first kiss with love interest Cho Chang, played by Katie Leung, fans and film crew alike would be waiting anxiously to see what would happen.
Producer David Heyman reported that director David Yates even cleared the set to intensify the scenes intimacy.
Heyman said that, “The makeup artist, who’s known Daniel really well from the age of 10, she shed a tear… For me, it was quite moving.”
But, at the Tokyo premier of Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, Radcliffe revealed that the kiss was just like part of the job. “When we started it, we were both a bit nervous… But after the first few takes, it was sort of like any other scene, which is never really what people want to hear. It doesn’t really feel any different, because you are still acting.”
Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix opens in the US on July 11. The seventh and final installment of the Harry Potter series by J.K. Rowling, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, will be released on July 21.
Radcliffe and co-stars Emma Watson (Hermione) and Rupert Grint (Ronald Weasley) have all signed on for the final two movies.

Harry should totally kick it to Hermione. WHAT a hottie… J/K! =oP
