Missy Peregrym, co-star on NBC’s Heroes has already landed a new role on the CW. This fall Linderman’s former morphing illusionist and confidant, aka Candice Wilmer, will star in a one-hour action-drama called the Reaper.
Peregrym will play the female-lead with co-star Bret Harrison. Harrison plays the part of a 21-year old slacker who decides to become proactive as a bounty hunter for the devil. Strange? Yes. But, the premis parallels that of Todd McFarlane’s comic success story of Spawn, a mercenary who comes back as the reluctant soldier of hell. Peregrym will play the role of the bounty hunter’s love interest.
Peregrym will replace Nikki Reed, who co-starred in the pilot.
