The debate is over. Marc Foster will direct the next film in the Bond saga.
The director said in a statement, “”I have always been drawn to different kinds of stories and I have also always been a Bond fan, so it is very exciting to take on this challenge.”
The last Bond Film Casino Royale was produced by Michael G. Wilson and Barbara Broccoli through a Sony and MGM partnership. The movie grossed nearly 600 million worldwide.
Foster, who directed Will Ferrell’s Stranger Than Fiction shared, “The new direction that the Bond character has taken offers a director a host of fresh possibilities.”
The movie remains untitled.
