For its third Season, Fox’s Prison Break has corralled two more actors to the cast as regulars. Robert Wisdom (HBO’s The Wire) and Jodi Lyn O’Keefe (Nash Bridges) have joined the cast of the drama.
When we last saw Michael Scofield (Wentworth Miller), he was locked up in a Panamanian prison. Wisdom will play a key role in that prison as Luchero, a drug kingpin who is also incarcerated, but controls all the other inmates. From first look, he will more than likely be the antagonist, squaring off against Scofield in a probably bid to escape the slammer.
O’Keefe will play Betty Crocker, an operative for the Company, the shadow government organization that has been behind the entire conspiracy that jailed Scofield’s brother Lincoln Burrows (Dominic Purcell).
It’s good to see that they’re getting some seasoned actors to join the show. The addition of William Fichtner to the cast during the second season was an integral part of continuing the resounding success of Season 1.
