Attention all cartoon fans of the 1980s - your nostalgia trip down memory lane is about to get even better. Not only will you get to see Optimus Prime come to life in Transformers this summer, but you will also soon get to see Lion-O in a theater near you. That’s right, Warner is bringing Thundercats to the big screen.
The script has already been written and details the story of the major heroes and villains from the cartoon and how Lion-O became leader of the Thundercats. There’s no word on if this will be all CGI or live action, but I’m game for whatever they want to throw at me, as long as it’s done right.
First G.I. Joe, then He-Man, then Teen Titans and now this. Given that there isn’t anything new coming out of Hollywood lately, I’m glad to see that my favorites of yesterday are getting their well deserved chance at the limelight once again. Thundercats Ho!

Mathew mcConahay is going to play lion-o. thats what I herd
I hope it doesn’t end up looking like Zoobilie Zoo on steroids
YAYYYY! Now if they can only get GEM and the Holograms to the big screen, my life would be complete. Well, GEM AND WONDER WOMAN THAT IS!!!!!
I can’t wait to see who they get to play Cheetara. GGGGGGGGGGGRRRRRRRRROOOOOOWWWWWWWWLLLLLLLLLLL!!!!!
