With the spring TV programming season just ending, it appears that Fox and NBC already have new characters in the works for the fall seasons of their “Prison Break” and “Heroes” hit shows.
In Prison Break, it looks like Michael Scofield (Wentworth Miller) will encounter a mysterious fisherman imprisoned in Panama, a beautiful local woman who is the fisherman’s girlfriend, a Panamanian drug lord, and a female freelance operative with a government organization. We also assume that Lincoln Burrows (Dominic Purcell) will be back, but no word on the other cast members.
For Heroes, Claire Bennett (Hayden Panettiere) will get a boyfriend. Also joining the story will be Micah’s 28 year-old surrogate mother, an Irish mobster and a Latina in her twenties. I guess they couldn’t be any more vague at this point. The new Heroes characters are expected to have season arcs rather than become regulars in the storyline.
I’m definitely looking forward to the next season of both of these shows. They do a great job of keeping some level of mystery as to where the show is going. In the meantime, expect the DVD’s of the second season of Prison Break and 1st season of Heroes to be out this August. Prison Break Season 3 will premiere August 29, 2007 and Heroes sometime this September.

nothing too exciting there…
