At the Cannes Film Festival, Matt Damon declared that he would not return to work on another Bourne movie. “We have ridden that horse as far as we can.” The actor will be appearing in The Bourne Ultimatum and Ocean’s 13 later this year. Damon said he felt like, “a bit of a prostitute for putting out two number threes in one year.” Actor George Clooney was on hand to add, “That’s better than three number twos.”
It is still uncertain whether Jason Bourne will continue on after Damon. The character has a large following, and people are already comparing him to James Bond.
The Bourne Ultimatum comes to theaters August 3, 2007. Ocean’s 13 will be released next month on June 8.
