One of the most anticipated comic movie sequels from Warner Bros. has already begun its marketing blitz. The Dark Knight won’t hit theaters until 2008, but you can get an early taste of what’s in store for the Batman at ibelieveinharveyDent.com.
But wait Bat-fans, there’s more. It seems the villainous Joker has purchased his own site. At iBelieveinHarveyDentToo.com, the Joker presents a defaced image of Gotham’s candidate for District Attorney Harvey Dent.

At first I thought this was a one-villain Joker only movie. Now, I have my qualms. If memory serves me correctly, and I’ll have to ask Bags or Link to verify, Harvey Dent becomes Two-Face, another Gotham villain. So, it seems Warner Bros. will either have two villains in this movie or use Harvey as a means to segway into the a third Batman movie. I have my reservations about this. I know Harvey may be an integral part of the Batman story arch. But, over the last decade, Hollywood has been hung-up on leaving these superhero movies with open-endings. They did it with the Spider-Man series, X-Men, Superman, and now Batman. Sometimes, I like to go to a movie and just have it conclude. Secondly, too many super-villains with superpowers is just a little too much to digest in two hours.
Anyway, there’s a special surprise for anyone who signs up on the Warner Bros. Harvey Dent site. You’ll get the location of a secret image hidden underneath the picture. It can only be found by surfing your mouse pointer over the right pixel, which is like searching for a needle in a haystack (hey, I’m old fashioned).
So, save a few minutes or hours and register (here’s a hint, if I were you I’d search around Harvey’s chin
).
