Sylvester Stallone, 60, pleaded guilty to charges of importing illegal drugs into Australia. The actor was caught with muscle-building hormones on February 16 during a visit to Sydney. Customs agents found over 40 vials of the drug Jintropin in his luggage. A few days later, Stallone was caught throwing four additional vials out of his hotel room before custom agents could search it.

In a letter to the court, Stallone said, “I made a terrible mistake, not because I was attempting to deceive anyone but I was simply ignorant to your official rules … I feel terrible that my breach of the rules has set a poor example to members of the public, whose opinion I cherish dearly.”

The star of Rocky faces sentencing next week.
