Looks like everyone’s favorite “Private I” Veronica Mars may be heading to an early funeral. Earlier reports claimed that execs at the CW still wanted to hold on to Ms. Mars character, but scrap the other parts of the show. Executives were entertaining the possibility of thrusting Veronica four years into the future.

What would this mean? One, it would involve a major overhaul of the current cast. Kristen Bell would most likely be the only character to survive the overhaul. Also, Veronica would trade in her freelance detective status for a professional law enforcement roll, possibly with the FBI.

Mars fans were thrilled to hear that the news. Alas, the warm welcome for a new Veronica seems to have turned sour. Sources are now claiming that Ms. Mars is back on track to cancellation status.

Do you think Veronica Mars should be cancelled? Or, would you prefer an older more professional Veronica?

I am a huge Veronica mars fan, and i mean huge. I think it is one of the best shows out there and just because the third season isn’t as great as the two following ones doesn’t mean that it should be canceled i think we need to give it a chance it is still a great show and very entertaining. besides how they left off in the third season is not a good ending they should have at least one more season. we owe them that just so they can resolve things. I mean we need to see what happens to Logan and veronica I’m always hoping they will be together in the end. so please don’t cancel it i need that show in my life.
