Super Paper Mario Sells over 150,000 Units

It’s time Sony and Microsoft realized that the Nintendo Wii threat is real. Despite early complaints of Wii elbow and personal injury resulting from the new gaming system, Wii sales are strong as ever. The Wii has sold over 6.4 million units worldwide compared with the Sony PS3, released within one week of the Wii, has sold less than half that amount at 3.15 million.

And as for the library, sales couldn’t be better for legendary fan fav Mario. For the week of April 22, Super Paper Mario sold 159,392 units and numbers are growing - you guessed it the Bag Man picked up his copy today. What really rocks about this game is that gamers can “switch from 2-D to 3-D to avoid enemies.
