After tapping virtually every large city of America, MTV is spicing up the Real World formula.
The network is reuniting the 2002 Real World Las Vegas cast to find out what happens you put 7 people back in a house and make them live together again. The gang will also be in in their former home, the luxury suite at the Palms Casino Resort. The show will be produced again by Bunim-Murray Productions and work will begin this month.
I don’t even know what to say on this one. It’s got 5 year high school renunion written all over it. Who will be balding, who will have made themselves into something, and which old flames will rekindle? In theory, it sounds interesting, but do these shows really keep people’s attention anymore?
Anyway, expect more drama to ensue from Alton, Arissa, Brynn, Irulan, Frank, Steven, and Trishelle as they compete for a slot on the Surreal Life 10. The show will premiere later this spring.
I think mtv should take different people from different seasons nad make them live together for a new season, not just for the challenges..
It will be interesting to see if these people have grown up yet. Can’t wait to see how Alton and Irulan interact since they’re relationship fizzled.
