Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Studios Inc. has signed a deal to offer downloadable movies on Apple’s iTunes Store.
The deal was announced today and seriously adds to the number of movies available on iTunes . The studio is going to offer classics like “Dances With Wolves,” “Mad Max,” and “Rocky,” and will add other titles soon. This is huge for Apple since MGM has the largest modern film library in the world.
Apple continues to fight a strong battle in the IPTV war and is trying to repeat the success of the iPod with its Apple TV product.
