She has played the mutant hero Rogue in the X-men movie series, now Anna Paquin is coming to HBO in a new series called True Blood. Paquin will be joined by English actor Stephen Moyer in the new vampire series adapted from Charlaine Harris’ ‘Southern Vampire’ series. The adaption is written and directed by Alan Ball. Looks like the television industry has hopped on the film industry bandwagon in the new era litany of book adaptions.
Plot Summary:
True Blood is the story of a group of vampires that settle in Louisiana. One of those vampires, Bull Comton, falls in love with the Paquin who plays the innocent barmaid Sookie Stackhouse.
