jdrama.jpgAhh, Entourage. There’s nothing like our favorite vicarious look into the life of a Hollywood superstar. Yes, the boys are back, now anchoring Sunday nights on HBO at 10PM, which is after the channel’s other juggernaut show, “The Sopranos”.

On the surface, it feels like more of the same from Vince, E, Turtle, and Drama…but a few things have changed.

Last we left off, Vince and Eric fired Ari after his sheer negligence in dealing with his most coveted client. Vince now has a new agent, Amanda, played by Carla Gugino. It appears there is the possibility of some romance between Vince and Amanda, but it’s too early to tell. She’s a pretty slick agent - showing that she has the smarts as well as the looks.

However, Ari has staked his claim to Vince as well. He wants his former client back and in the worst way. Ari actually tries to force his way back into Vince’s life and it results in some awkward, yet hilarious moments, including small talk between Ari and Vince and Drama’s metaphor to ex-girlfriends.

In other news, Drama has finally landed a TV show.. being cast on 5 Towns… which somewhat resembles NBC’s show, “The Black Donnellys“. Drama is still looking for attention though, going so far as to having Turtle take pictures of him in front of the show’s billboard.

It’s looking like it will be another great season of Entourage. We all knew that Ari wasn’t going anywhere, but seeing him win back Vince will be quite fun to watch. Also, Mr. Chase will probably go back to work for the first time in a while, so it will be interesting to see how his acting skills have held up.

I’m glad the show is back and just as funny as ever. I think we’re going to need it to offset the darkness to come in The Sopranos.
