In a recent interview with Details magazine, pop-icon Justin Timberlake declared his animosity towards celebrity gossip magazines. “I despise what they do.”
The former ‘N Sync bandmember has been in two limelight relationships since the turn of the century. The first was with Britney Spears, the childhood friends stopped dating in 2002. Timberlake and his latest flame Cameron Diaz recently announced their official breakup earlier this year.
The singer said that gossip magazines, “create soap operas out of people’s lives… It’s a spin game, and I choose not to take part in it.”
Timberlake recently won the Nickelodeon Kid Choice Award for favorite male singer. During his performance at the Awards show, currently in its 20th year, the pop-star decended to the stage, in front of an audience of 10,000, singing, “You’ll never get a drop of slime on old J.T.” By the end of the performance, Nickelodeon retaliated by drenching the singer in a vat of slime.
