Prison Break: Where do we go from here?

pbreak.jpgThere’s very little that can pry me away from the TV on a Monday night. Prison Break at 8PM and then my choice of 24 or Heroes at 9PM.

Let’s talk a little about Prison Break. Note: Anything beyond this point will contain spoilers, so please don’t read if you haven’t seen the show up until last night’s episode.

So we’re only left with 2 episodes of the unrealistic, yet SO exciting drama. For once, it appears the writers have FINALLY given a happy ending to one of the characters. C-Note was given a deal and has been set free to head off into the sunset with his wife and daughter. I think the guy deserved it… his whole reason for being in prison was undeserved in the first place. No word yet on if this will all be taken away because The Company wants C-Note dead.

In one of her smartest moves yet, Sara sacrificed herself so that the brothers can get away. From the looks of next week’s previews, she’s on her way to a high security prison as well. Weird how everything comes full cycle, no?

One of the more compelling moments was actually seeing Michael and Lincoln in Panama, free men strolling on the beach. This wasn’t the victory we’ve been yearning for however, as Michael is completely overcome with guilt from the destruction and death that has occurred ever since he plotted to break Lincoln out of prison. All of this was capped off with Lincoln saying that maybe Michael should’ve just let him die. Given all that’s happening, I couldn’t agree more, but I guess we wouldn’t have a show now, would we?

On a lighter note, Bellick and Sucre teamed up in a weird buddy/cop movie kind of way. It’s fun to see Sucre and everything, but I sure wish they would let the man get his happy ending as well and be with Maricruz. The fact that Bellick is still in the show is definitely a distraction, regardless of how funny he is to watch.

Our friend Mahone is finally breaking down completely. Desperate to figure out where Michael has disappeared to, he completely misses that the FBI is on to his misdeeds. On top of that, every time he appears to be through with the Company, they pull him back in. I personally don’t know how they’re going to end things with this guy… but it’s not looking good.

Oh, and T-Bag is now officially working for the man. Finally running out of his 9 lives, he was caught in Mexico and is obviously being used by the Company as bait for Michael in Panama. I predict that he won’t survive Season 2… and will be taken out by Lincoln, who will come to the rescue of Michael.

So how will Season 2 end? Will Mahone finally get his prize catch Michael? Will T-Bag string of violence finally come to an end? Will Sucre get to live in peace? Will Sarah go to the big house? What is Kellerman up to? Will Mahone completely explode from all the pressure?

Given that there’s now a season 3, we’re not coming out of season 2 with any type of happy ending. it will most likely be a huge cliffhanger

Thought this was a great episode and can’t wait to see the final 2 of the season. It’s really not looking like Mike and Linc will get a happy ending
