Babel” actress Cate Blanchett has been cast to star opposite Harrison Ford in the long-awaited fourth installment of the Indiana Jones franchise. The film will be directed by Steven Spielberg and produced by George Lucas.
The script is being kept under some seriously tight wraps, so it’s not clear what role Blanchett will play. The movie begins shooting this June, and Paramount will release it in theaters on May 22, 2008.
As a fan of the original trilogy, I’m really rooting for this movie to be good. I think that Cate is a great actress and will be a great addition to the film.
