Not surprinsingly, someone has manipulated Wikipedia to display false info.
Rumors circulately this past weekend that comedian Sinbad had died from a heart attack on the free Online Encyclopedia, Wikipedia. If you’re not familiar with the site, it’s one that any one can edit and change information.
So change it they did. Sinbad started to receive hundreds of calls, emails and text messages, so he had to resurface to quell the rumors.
Sinbad told the Associated Press “It’s gonna be more commonplace as the Internet opens up more and more. It’s not that strange.”
Kudos to him for taking this well. But hey, he made need the press anyway, he’s on the road doing stand up right now.
