The latest James Bond thriller to ignite the cinema, is coming to DVD. “Casino Royale,” based on the 1953 novel Casino Royale by Ian Fleming and starring Daniel Craig and Eva Green, relaunches the James Bond franchise with a new narrative framework.
Fans who didn’t catch “Casino Royale” in theaters, can expect a grittier no-holds-barred James Bond. Though James Bond has always captured the viewers attention with death defying opening sequences, the movie is not without its fantastical elements. The opening chase through the streets of Madagascar is only rivaled by that of the infamous ski chase in “On Her Majesty’s Secret Service.”
Plot Outline:
“Casino Royale” introduces James Bond before he holds his license to kill. But Bond is no less dangerous, and with two assassinations in quick succession, he is elevated to “00″ status.
